今、シドニーではVivid Sydneyというフェスティバルがやっています。
夜にはこんな風に、オペラハウスもライトアップされ、30分毎？１時間毎？ちょっと分かりませんが、色々な色に変化します☆
オペラハウスのライトアップは夜の6時から夜中の12まで。6月14日までやっています。

これはミセス・マッコリーチェアーから映した様子です。
ミセス・マッコリーチェアーから見るオペラハウスと、ハーバーブリッジが一番美しく配列されて見えると言われています。
是非、ここからの眺めを一度見てくださいね。

こちらは、ノースサイドから見たオペラハウスの様子。。。。
またちょっと、違ったカラーでした。

Woomera

さて、旅行の続きをご紹介します。 Continuing writing about the trip to Ayrs Rock.

1日目はウーメラを目指してひたすら走ります。Firstday, we drove to Woomera.
　
サウス・オーストラリアでは写真（上）のような光景がたくさん見られます。これらは実は「塩の湖」なんです。
色はピンクと白が混ざった感じです。お土産屋さんなどでは、加工されたピンクの塩を購入することができます。
In South Australia, you can see the view like picture above everywhere. It is a Salt Lake. The colours are mixture of pink and white. You can buy this salt (which is processed for safe for eat) at a souvenir shop.

さて、ウーメラとはどんなところかと言うと、、、何もないところです。しかし、そんな何もないところで実は色々な実験がされているそうです。日本の衛星が飛ばされるのも、ここウーメラから。そして、旅客機などの実験が行われるのもここウーメラで。さてはて、核実験が行われるのもウーメラ近辺だそうです。なので、ウーメラの町自体には入れますが、入場禁止区域もたくさんあるのがここのウーメラ。こんな辺鄙なところに、日本の科学者の皆さんは2週間に1度の割合で、入れ替わり立ち代わりいらっしゃるそうです。
Here Woomera has....nothing. But many of testings are taking in here. For example, Japanese satellite is usually launched from here. New airplanes are tested here before launching. Also nuclear testing is taking in here, as well. We can go to the town of Woomera, but there are many restricted areas around the town.

Little Rock Cafe

さて、昨日、コンピューターマーケットに近くのショッピングセンターのカフェに入ってお昼を食べました。

Little Rock Cafe　（写真左）ショッピングセンターに入っているカフェとしてはなかなかです。
コンピューターマーケットに行って、お腹がすいていたら寄ってみても良いと思います。
　
私はFriandのコーヒーセット(AU$5.90)（写真右）を頼みました。
Friandアップで見て楽しみたい方のために・・・（写真下）

ブルーベリーのFriandです☆　初め、Friandがなんだかわからなかったのでお店の人に聞いてみたらフランスのケーキと言われました。。。
が、食べてみたらマフィンみたいな感じです。オーストラリアのマフィンは中がパサパサしている食感があって、個人的にはあまり好きではないのですが、Friandは中がしっとりしていてとても美味しかったです。
　
さて、こちらは旦那が注文したパンプキンスープ(AU$10.90)（写真左）と、一緒にシェアをして食べてタイ･ビーフサラダ(AU$14.90)（写真右）です。

こちらのカフェではスープに必ずパンがついてくるので、小腹が空いた時に丁度良いですよね。
タイ・ビーフサラダは、どこのカフェでも同じような味付けですが、結構当たり外れがないので、よく注文する一品です。

カフェは結構広く、お店の外と内に客席があります。
外は喫煙をする人が結構座っていたので、喫煙者用のような感じになっていました。
私たち夫婦は喫煙をしないので、お店の内側の席に座りました。

味と値段とを考えると、ショッピングセンターに入っているカフェとしてはなかなかではないかなと思います。
是非、近くまで行ってお腹がすいていたら立ち寄ってみてくださいませ☆ ]]>

North Rocks Computer Market

今日は、コンピューターマーケットにワイヤレスのルーターを見に行きました。

モールの中のショップでは大体$79~で売っているワイヤレスルーター。
私達夫婦が希望するものだと大体$145位で売っていました。

さて、マーケットでのお値段は・・・

マーケットはNorh Rocksにある高校の体育館内にあります。
毎週日曜日に開催しています。
　
　
中庭では、Uniting Churchがチャリティーのためにホットドックを売っていました。
そのほかにも、コーヒーカートが出ていました。

入り口の辺りから、コンピューターマニアらしき人たちがいっぱい。（写真左）
そして、入り口のすぐ側ではコンピューターを受け付ける修理屋さんがスーパーコンピューターの中身を展開していました。
さて、中に入るとどんな風な感じかと言うと。。。。こんな感じです☆　（写真右）

お店の様子はと言いますと・・・
　
コンピューター周辺機器から、コンピューターソフト、ケース、プリンターインク、USB、CD-ROM、DVD-ROM、Wii周辺機器、中古のCDなど色々とにかくあらゆるものがそろっています。コンピューターも、オーストラリア滞在期間中だけ使いたいと言うのであれば、企業レンタルの中古品1年型落ちの物でかなり良いものが安く手に入ります。

車と飛行機型のマウスです☆

さて、お目当てのワイヤレス･ルーターですが・・・・色々なお店で売っていましたが、やはりモール内のショップの半額くらいでした。
ショップで売っているものと同じブランドのもので$54で見つけました・・・

しかし私たちは、大丈夫、大丈夫、これで。。。と言うことで、こちらのメーカーの物を購入。（写真左）
　
破格の$35でした。家に帰って早速使ってみましたが、全然問題無し！
You Tubeも止まることなくスイスイ見れました。

そして写真右のこの謎の製品。
次回、車で遠出をする前に購入したい一品です。
車についている自動ライターありますよね、そこに差し込みUSBやi-podをつないでMP３を車の中で聞けるというものです。

どうでしょう。是非、お時間と車のある方はコンピューター製品をショップで購入する前に、マーケットに行かれてみてください。
希望の商品が安く手に入ること間違い無しです☆

ちなみに、多くのショップでカード、EFTPOSが使えますが、現金をお持ちになること忘れずに！

Fly to Adelaide

2月7日から一週間、エアーズロックに旅行へ行ってきました！
We had been to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for 1 week from 7/Feb/2009.

オーストラリアに来たら、ロードトリップ！をしたい方もたくさんいると思うのですが、オーストラリアは広すぎます☆
I guess many people want to do road trip when you visit to Australia,,, but Australia is too big for one week trip with a car.

シドニーからエアーズロックまで直線距離で、運転し続けた分約3-4日間。。。。
If you drive from Sydney to Ayers Rock,,,, may be it takes 3-4 days with non-stop driving...

一週間のお休みでは、車で片道行くだけで終わってしまうので、飛行機利用をお勧めします☆
We recommend you to use an airplaine if you have only 1 week holiday...

飛行機代もなかなか安くなりまして、今回はシドニーからアデレードまで約AU$175（ジェットスター）でした。
This time, we fly with Jet☆ from Sydney to Adelaide. The ticket was about AU$175 p.p.

飛行機の中からはオペラハウスやハーバーブリッジなども今回は見れました☆
We saw Opera house and Harbour Bridge from the airplane.

朝6時半の飛行機に乗って、現地時間8時にアデレードに到着。
We got on the plane at 6:30 am and arrived at 8 am Adelaide time.

アデレードは、少々天気が悪く曇り空です。。。。Adelaide was cloudy on that day.
　

シドニーとアデレードでは30分の時差がありました。
Between Sydney and Adelaide had 30 minutes time differences.

オーストラリア国内を移動する際も、時差に注意されてくださいね☆　飛行機を降りたら時計のチェックです！
When you travel within Australia, check the time as soon as you arrive at new city!

まず向かったのは、ロードトリップをするための車を借りに、いざ、ハーツへ！
We rent a car from Hertz for enjoying our road trip!

車自体は、ラグジュアリークラスで$400ちょっとで一週間借りることができます。。。。
It was not so expensive to rent a car,,,, we rent Luxuary class car with about AU$400 for one week.

しかし、全免責の保険に入ることをお勧めします。（ちょっと高めですが・・・）
An insurance for a car is a bit expensive. But I strongly recommend you to take no excess insurance.

アデレードから、エアーズロックまでの砂漠を走ると、、、、(アン）ラッキーな方はカンガルーが車に突進してくることでしょう（笑）。
If you drive from Adelaid to Ayers Rock, you have a good chance to meet Kangaroos on the road.

カンガルーと衝突すると、車はかなりのダメージにあいますので、大変なことになります。
If you hit a kangaroo, a car could be damaged badly and you might be in trouble.

保険でまかなえるように、保険代をケチることなく全免責で入ることを強くお勧めします☆
So,,,, for avoiding a trouble to pay a lot of money for damaged rent a car,,,, I recommend to get no excess insurance.

また、ハーツではガソリン代を前もって支払うことができます。
Also you can pay a fee for petrol as prepaid at Hertz.

どういうことかというと、レンタカーを返すときに、ガソリンは満タンにして返さなくてはいけません。
しかし、ハーツでは、先に満タン分のガソリンを支払っておくことによって、レンタカー返却の際にガソリンタンクを空にして返してもいいですよ。。。というシステムです。
Usually when you return a rent a car, you have to fill up the petrol tank. But if you paid for it at the time of renting, you don't need to fill up the petrol tank when you return the car.

これはかなりお勧めです。I think this is good system!
砂漠の真ん中のガソリン代は半端じゃありません。

この日、ハーツが出していたガソリン代は、1リットル109セント、しかし、砂漠で私たちが見たガソリン代は、1リットル159セント、、、
In the middle of desert, the petrol price is quite high.
The price at Hertz on that day was 109c / 1L.
But we saw in the desert was 159c / 1L.

なので、1リットル当たり50セントもお得なのです☆
So 50c cheaper! than in the middle of desert.

是非、このガソリン代前払いシステム、利用されてみてください☆
さて、次はこの日のロードトリップの最初で止まったところ、ウーメラの写真をアップします☆

Free Opera Night at Domain!

とても久しぶりになってしまったブログの更新です☆
I haven't updated the blog for a long time....

シドニーにはドメインという広場があります。
シドニーにある国立植物公園の中にあります。
At the City in Sydney, there is a park which called "Domain" where is in Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

そこでは、クリスマスの時には、クリスマスコンサート、お正月にはニューイヤーコンサート、などなど無料イベントがたくさん開催されるのですが、今回は無料のオペラ鑑賞会でした。
Many free events are on there. e.g Christmas concert, Ner Year concert ,,, etc.
We went to see a free opera this time.

その前の週は、無料のクラッシックコンサートでした。
Week before was a classic concert was on.

無料なので、場所取りは早い者勝ちです☆
This free opera was totally FREE! To get good position to sit,,, you need to go before other people come....First come, first served...

　
私たちは7時半スタートだったので、6時半に行きましたが、もうすでにこの状態・・・・
座るところを探すのも精一杯いでした☆
The event starts at 7:30 pm,,, so we went to there at 6:30pm...
The place was already full, it was difficult to find the space to sit for four people.

無料イベントに行くときには、お弁当を持って早めに行くこと、絶対にお勧めです。
I recommend to you,,,, bring the picnic dinner and go earliest as possible... if you go to free events like this.

周りのオーストラリア人はなれたもので、ピクニックセットにワインに、無料観賞用の低めの椅子など用意万端で、昼間から場所取りをしているのでは？と思いました。
Local people know what happening, so they bring picnic dinner, wine and low chair for the event,,,, I assumed they came to there from the daytime and kept the good position...

さて、肝心のオペラは？と言うと、、、、、
Opera we saw was....

もう、大分前のこと過ぎて、オペラの題目はすっかり忘れてしまいましたが、、、、
プッチーニのオペラでした。
I forgot the title of Opera,,,, but it was Pucchini's opera!

あまりにも遠すぎて、、、、舞台の演技者は豆粒くらいにしか見えませんでしたが、、、横の大スクリーンに字幕つきで、（オペラ自体はイタリア語です☆）映像が出されるのでよかったです☆
Where we sat was very far from the stage,,, and couldn't see the actors so much.
BUT! we could enjoy with big screen at the ide of the stage. The subtitle was on the screen. (The opera was played with Italian...)

このオペラ、普通にオペラハウスで見たら安い席でも70ドルくらいはします。。。。
If you see it at the opera house, you may pay $70 at least... I mean the cheapest seat.

そして、字幕も見えない位置に座ることになりますので、無料の鑑賞会は、オペラが好きかどうかわからない人が試しに行ってみるのにとってもいいチャンスです。
Also that seat, you cannot see the subtitle,,,, so this free opera event is good chance to try Opera if you are not sure you like to see opera.

教会での結婚式

クリスマスの日に、ボンダイビーチに行った後、私たちが結婚式を挙げた教会を見に行ってみました。結婚式を挙げたのは3年前。もう、ずいぶん昔のことに思いますが、まだ3年しかたっていません・・・　教会を探すのがとっても大変でした☆　シドニーであげるなら、海が見える教会でないとヤダという、妙なこだわりを私が持っていたからです。教会を探すのに2ヶ月位。。。海沿いを、あーでもない、こーでもないと走り回る週末を過ごしたのを覚えています。また、海沿いに教会があっても、宗派が違うと受け付けてくれません。アー駄目だ、モー駄目だ、と何週間も何件も回りました。そして、見つけたのがここです☆
After we went to Bondi Beach on Christmas Day, we went to see the church which we got married three years ago. I remember that looking for a particular church was so hard..... I wanted to get married at the churhc that we could see the sea. We drove along the sea side many weeks and finally found one that we liked. Why we had a trouble find the church? Actually there are many churches along the sea side, but if your denomination of the church is different to the church, they refuse to let us use the church, or pay alot of money.

この教会、正面にステンドグラスがあって、外から光が当たると綺麗で、真正面には海があります。
Front of the church, there is Stained glass. When the light coming inside, these glasses are shinning nicely. Also it was on the cliff, so you can see the sea in fornt.

予算的にも、場所的にもとってもよい場所だったと思います☆
The cost was small, but the location was so nice. I think we chose the best church for us.

A Happy New Year!!

新年はブルーマウンテンで迎えました。新年早々ブッシュウォーキングに行った際に撮った写真です☆
A Happy New Year! We welcome Year 2009 in Blue Mountains. And we went to bush walking and took this flower's picture on New Year's day!
　
大晦日から友人のお宅にお邪魔し、新年、朝一番に見たオーストラリアの動物は、ククバラ（ワライカワセミ）でした。
We had stayed friend's holiday house from New Year's Eve, and Kookburra was the first Australian animal I saw in 2009.
　
友人宅のジャラちゃんです☆　私たちが、ブッシュウォーキングへ行く準備をしていると、自分も玄関前まで行き待機しています。でも、ワンちゃんは入れないオーストラリアのナショナルパーク。残念ながら、お家でお父さんとお留守番です。
Friend's pet dog, JARRAH. (sorry, I don't know spelling...) While we were getting ready to go for bush walking, JARRAH was waiting at the front door. She wanted to go with us, but the dog cannot enter the national park.... so she has to wait at home.

色々なブッシュウォーキングコースがあるのですが、この日はルーラカスケードから出発し、スリーシスターズの見えるエコーポイントまで３km程のコースでした。
There are many bush walking routes. But we chose Prince Henry Walk on that day. Starting point was Leula Cascade and finishing point was Echo point which you can see famous Three Sisters. It was about 3 km walking distance.

こんな崖や、こんな滝がゴールまでの道のりの中で見れます☆　意外と多くの展望コーナーがありました。
You can see the clif and waterfall on this route. There are many lookouts.

ここは、スリーシスターズ・ジャイアント・ステアーウェイのゲートです。スリーシスターズの岩壁にある展望エリアにいくことができます。
Here is the gate of "Three Sisters Giant Stair Way". You can go to the lookout at the Three Sisters.

♪行きはよいよい、帰りは怖い～♪　本当に急な階段です。どっちがどっちだか分からないかもしれませんが秊　左側の写真が「行き」で下っている所を撮った写真です。そして、右側の写真が「帰り」でこれから上って帰る前に撮った写真です・・・
The stairs are so steep. Left hand side picture was taken when I was going down. Right hand side picture was taken before I going up the stairs...

展望台まで行くと、こんな感じの景色が！ These pictures were taken at lookout at the Three Sisters.

スリーシスターズの崖のてっぺんはこんな感じです☆

最後は、スリーシスターズを見て、ブッシュウォーキングも終わりです。遠くの方が青く見えることから、ブルーマウンテンと呼ばれていますが、青くみえますか？？？
The end of bush walking, we looked at the Three Sisters. Because you can see in Blue at the far back of the mountains it was called Blue Mountains. Can you see in Blue??? ]]>

Bondi Beach

今年のクリスマスは、クリスマスランチの後、ボンダイビーチに行ってきました。
After the Christmas lunch, we went to Bondi Beach in this Christmas day.

ボンダイビーチといえば、ホテルボンダイの時計かなぁと思って撮ってみました。
オーストラリアではホテルというと、宿泊施設のホテルとパブなどが入っているいわゆる酒場のホテルと2種類あります。
ホテルボンダイは、酒場の方のホテルです。
This is Hotel Bondi's clock. I don't know it is famous or not, but many of you might go there for drinking.

とにかくすごい人でした。どこを見渡しても人・人・人！
この日は、ビーチに入場制限がかかっていました。
ビーチの周りには柵が設けられ、持ち物検査をしていました。
アルコールを持っている人は入場禁止！というわけです。
かなり酔っている人も多分入場できなかったのではないかと思います。

The beach was soooo crowded. People! People! People! People were everywhere!
Around the beach, there were fence and people who had an alcohol coudn't enter there.I guess people who were already badly drank couldn't go to the beach area.

ボンダイといえば、ライフセーバーを思い出す方もいらっしゃるかも。
今では、オーストラリアのビーチにはライフセーバーが必ずと言って良いほどいますが、このライフセーバーの発祥はオーストラリアではボンダイビーチだとか。。。テレビ番組にもなっています。。。ボンダイレスキュー
Bondi beach might remind you Life Savers. I heard that Life Savers origin was in Bondi. There is TV Show called Bondi Rescue.

ビーチに来たら、まずは注意書きを良くみて、ライフセーバーの方のお世話にならないように安全に海を楽しんでくださいね。
目印は、黄色と赤の旗です。黄色と赤の旗の間はライフセーバーの方が重点的に注意して見ているところなので、その間で遊泳してくださいね。
When you come to the beach, please read the information board. See yellow and read flag and you had better to swim between those flags. Life savers are usually watching between those flags.

この日は、クリスマスということで、多くの人がサンタクロースハットをかぶっていました☆
サンタクロースハットをかぶってサーフィンしている人も！
Because it was Christmas day, many of them were wearing Santa Claus hat.
Some of them were sarfing with wearing Santa Hat.

昨日は、Davidsonというサバーブに行って、クリスマスライトを見てきました。
写真を撮ってきて、ビデオにしてYou Tubeに落としてみました。。。。
You Tubeに落としたら、、、写真では映りが良かったのですが、あまり良い画像に仕上がりませんでしたが、是非、ご覧ください☆

Wollombi

シドニーから一番近いワイナリーといえば、ハンターバレーです。
多分、ワイン好きの方であれば一度は訪れたい観光地かもしれませんね。
ハンターバレーはシドニーから車で2時間位のところにあります。しかし今日はハンターバレーのご紹介ではなく、その道途中にあるウーロンバイのカフェのご紹介です。

Hunter Valley is the nearest Winery from Sydney. If you like drinking wine, this is the place to go. Hunter Valley is in 2 hours driving from the centre of Sydney.
But today I put up the picture of cafe at Wollonbi, not Hunter Valley. Wollonbi is on the way to Hunter Valley.

ウーロンバイはとっても小さな町ですので、よく注意していないと通り過ぎてしまいます。
しかし小さい町ですが、カフェなどは3、４件、またパブなどもあります。
Wollonbi is very old small town, so if you see careful, you might miss out.....
Even though it is small town, there are 3-4 cafes around there, and also there is a pub.

私と友人が入ったのは、こちらのカフェ・ウーロンバイ。カフェの裏方には宿泊施設もありました。
I and my friend stop by the Cafe Wollonbi. It seems like there is an accommodation behind of the cafe.

外観はこんな感じで、ただの人の家のように見えます☆
Outside look is just like someone's house.

お店の中も、客席になっていますが、天気もよかったのでテラスの席を選んでみました。
外は暑くても湿度が低いオーストラリアでは、物陰に入ってしまうと涼しくすごしやすいのでテラスではさわやかな気分になれリラックスできます。
You can choose the table inside of the cafe or outside. We chose outside this time.
Australia is not humid. So even outside temperature is high, if you are under the shade, you feel cool in outside.

こちらのカフェでは昼間でも朝食メニューが選べます。私は大好きなエッグ・ベネディクトとイチゴのスムージーを注文しました。
カフェによってエッグ・ベネディクトの作り方が多少違うのですが、基本はトーストの上にベーコンと半熟の卵が2つのっています。
そして、その上にクリームソースがかかっている場合もあります。

You can choose breakfast menue, even it is lunch time in this cafe. I chose egg benedict which I love and strewberry smoothy. ]]>

DFO

シドニーの買い物スポットのひとつ、DFOに行ってきました。DFOはDirect Factory Outletsの略でいわゆるアウトレットモールのことです。
シドニーには何件かアウトレットモールがあるのですが、今回はホームブッシュにあるアウトレットに行きました。
We went to DFO yesterday. DFO stands for Direct Factory Outlets. There are several outlets' mall in Sydney, but we went to the mall where is in Homebush.

入り口はこんな感じです。Here is entrance.

入り口を入っていってから、しまった！と思いました。クリスマスショッピングで中は人ごみでした。
どんなブランドが入っているのかというと、日本でもおなじみのブランドといえば、ラルフローレン、エスプリ、Nine West、Tommy Hilfiger、Colrado、Pumaなどでしょうか。昔はMikasaやウェッジウッドなども入っていましたが、今回久しぶりに行ったらなくなっていました。
Pumaは入った瞬間、旦那が「何にもないね」（←英語）といった瞬間に、後ろから日本語で「何もねぇジャン」という声が聞こえて、旦那が「ほうらね」と一言・・・その方がおっしゃったように、本当に何にもないというか売切れてしまって、棚に何もありませんでした。
いつ行っても、何もないので、Puma目当てでは行かないほうが良いと思います。
また、話のネタに、とかTシャツを買いたいとかジーンズを買いたいというのであれば、お勧めですが、基本的にあまり物は良くないので、期待していかないほうが良いと思います。
しかし、ちょっとした贈り物にセトモノを買いたいとか、シーツを買いたい、タオルを買いたいというのであれば、ここが良いかもしれません。

After we went inside, we thought it was mistake to come today!! because sooooo many people are there for Christmas shopping!! Quit famous brand shops are in there, for example, Ralph Lauren, Esprit, Nine West、Tommy Hilfiger、Colrado、Puma and so on. Mikasa and Wedgewood were used to be there, but not any more.
I don't recommend to go if you just want to see Puma because always there is nothing on the shelf. Also basically there are no so much nice clothes in each shop. So if you want to buy T-shirts, Jeans, manchesters or brand cups for small gift, it is good to go. Don't expect too much this mall.

昨日は、シーツを買ってきました。シーツのセットは、こちらでは意外と値段がはります。安い物でもA$50位からです。しかし、それらのものは、綿100%ではありません。
綿100%だと、普通にA$100超です。（サイズにもよります。）我が家のベットのサイズですと、普通にお店に買いに行けば、安売りになっていても、A$250はしますし、1000 threadなどの良いシーツになればA$350は軽くしてしまいます。
しかし、ここにくれば、A$125位でエジプシャンコットン100% 1000threadシーツセットが買えます。私はもっぱらインターネットでのシーツは購入するのですが、インターネットであれば、A$100でも購入できます。（でも、送料がかかるので、結局はA$125くらいになりますが・・・）

さて、今回はクリスマス時期ということもあり、クリスマスプレゼント購入にもかなりの費用が重なるので、A$125の1000thread エジプシャンコットンシーツはあきらめ、、、、売れ残りの掘り出し物コーナーからお店の自己ブランドのシーツを購入してきました。Woven Jacquardという柄がついているのですが、ちょっと濃い水色と銀色を混ぜたような感じの色です。A$60でした。1000threadのシーツと比べたら少し硬いような感じもしますが、洗濯機で洗ってケバケバにならなければ良いので、100%コットンだし、これで良いと思っています☆
このほかにも、オフホワイトの違う刺繍がついているシーツや、真っ白のシーツなども売っていました。

We bought sheet set yesterday. Usually sheet set is very expensive. You can buy around A$50 if it is not 100% cotton, but if you want to buy 100% cotton sheet set, it going to be more than A$100. (depenging on size) In a normal shop, the discounted price of the sheet set for our bed is around $250. But if we want to have 1000 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton sheet set, we have to pay at least A$350. However, if you come this mall, you can buy around A$125.
I personally like to buy a sheet set through the internet because it is cheaper than the shop and able to buy under $100, but if you pay shipping cost, it will be around same as the shop in this mall.

But this christmas time, we don't have so much money for buying sheet set because we have to buy Christmas present for the family and spend a lot of money. So we cannot buy such a nice sheet but we bought this sheet set with A$60. I feel 370thread count sheet is a little bit hard comparing with 1000 thread.

Nan Tien Temple

ウーロンゴンには、中国の仏教寺、南天寺があります☆
There is Chinese Buddihsm temple "Nan Tien Temple" in Woollongon.

わたしたち夫婦は、クリスチャンなのでお寺参りはしませんが、ここには精進料理を出すカフェがあるので、ウーロンゴンに行った際には、必ずランチはここに来ます☆
We, my husband and myself, are christian, so we don't go there for praying. But there is a good vegetatian diet cafe (tea house), so we usually go there for lunch when we go to Woollongong.

カフェの入り口はお寺の本堂に入っていく階段の下にあります☆
The entrance of cafe is under the steps which lead to the main temple building.

精進料理といっても、中国式。それに加えて、ここはカフェなので麺類などもあります。わたしは個人的に麺類がお勧めです。上にのかっているハムみたいなものも実は豆で作られています。つまり偽者のお肉です。お値段も、お寺価格で＄７位だった気がします。メニューはこちらから☆
This cafe has Chinese Vegetarian menue, so you can find the noodles. I personally likes noodles here. Hams on the noodle is made of bean. Yes, it is fake meat. I don't remember clearly, but the price was around $7. You can look at the menue from here!

カフェの周りは中国式の庭になっていて、とてもきれいです。修行中のお坊さんたち（白人の方ももちろんいらっしゃいます）が一生懸命お掃除しています。
Around the care, there is a nice chinese garden. Also training monks (there are white Australian monks) take care of the garden.

お寺らしい写真も少し・・・おなじみのお線香をたく場所ですね。中国のお寺は日本のそれとは違っていて、とっても明るい雰囲気です。本堂の中は、赤やらピンクやら黄色やら。。。華やかな色で絵がかかれています。華やかな本堂のお写真はこちらからご覧ください☆
Here is the place people give incense stick to Buddah. Chinese buddhist temple is a bit different to the temple I know in Japan. It is so bright. They use the colours of Red, Pink, Yellow,,,, and so on. You can see the picture of bright Chinese Temple from here.

ウーロンゴンへはシドニーから車で1時間半かからない程度。ちょっと遠出をしたいという方にはお勧めです。ハイウェイの途中に展望台があるので、ぜひ立ち寄ってください。ウーロンゴンの街がこんな風に見えちゃうので、お勧めです。そこにはカフェがあるので一息されたい方、トイレ休憩なんかもできます。
To Woollongong is just an hour and a half drive from Sydney, so if you want to go out somewhere, here is the one to go. There is a lookout on the highway to Woollongong. I recommend to stop by there. There are a cafe and toilet.

シドニーハーバーブリッジにある展望台です☆
入場料は大人$9.50です。
中に入ると、ハーバーブリッジがどうやって作られたのかなどの展示がされていて、ちょっとしたシドニーブリッジの歴史について学べます☆

Yes, Pylon Lookout is at Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Admission fee is $9.50 for above 13 years old.
There is exhibition and you can learn how Sydney Harbour Bridge was made.

多分、オペラハウスの写真をきれいに撮りたいならここが一番だと思います☆
If you want to take a beautiful picture of Opera House, I think here is the best position.
